On Tuesday 28th November, TENT Welcomes de Kunstenbond! De Kunstenbond organises a one-off event in TENT including speed-dates with their experts and a State of the Art – Geld telt (‘money counts/matters’) themed meet-up. This event is intended to teach creatives everything they need to know about creative entrepreneurship.
Speed date with one of our experts
Do you have a burning question about litigation or an agreement? Are you being driven mad by copyright? Are things turning out to be more challenging than expected with tax authorities? Do you have questions about insurance, (sick-leave) funds, or something else? De Kunstenbond will organise an appointment with their lawyer, advocate, marketer or tax consultant depending on each of your specific questions.
State of the art – Geld telt
State of the Art is a one and a half hour session about creative entrepreneurship. Is your passion your career? In this workshop you’ll find out how you can make sure you have enough work or assignments to support yourself and grow. During this session you’ll listen to the ‘best practice stories’ of Alex Jacobs, visual artists and initiator of Bcademie and Kevin de Randami initiator of the Creative Revolution (de Creatieve Revolutie) and Braenworks; two Rotterdam initiatives in the field of creative entrepreneurship. You will also actively participate in short workshops in calculating hourly-wage, negotiating, drafting agreements or writing. Participation is free, signing up is compulsory.
