This summer, children who participate in the Youth Holiday Passport can take a touristic expedition at TENT. In the Authentic Boys’ video installation Happyland, one imagines they are abroad. Step into the shoes of a group of idealists who freely roam the world hitchhiking with backpacks and guitars, or follow the martyrs toughing it out climbing a mountain in severe weather. Or maybe you’d rather float around on an azure-blue lake in a luxury yacht? If so, then you’ll love Happyland. On a specially equipped campsite hang-out, play a game of badminton, rest on a mat or send a postcard to someone you like.
Admission is free for children with a Youth Holiday Passport.
One accompanying adult can also enter for free.
The Youth Holiday Passport started in 1985 and is intended for all primary school children from 4 to 12 years old from Rotterdam and surrounding areas.
They are issued a passport at school on 1 July 2016.
