Rens Muis and Pieter Vos are co-directors of the design studio 75B. The clear, simple, humorous design style of 75B has been called typical of modern Dutch graphic design. Theatre director Jetse Batelaan has been attached to the Ro Theater since 2009. He has built up a characteristic oeuvre of productions, often with striking titles such as ’A tree only gets applause once it’s sawdust’ or ’Performance in which hopefully nothing happens’.

An Evening with 75B: Art. A farce in two companies.
On 15 December Pieter Vos, Rens Muis and Jetse Batelaan are at the centre of a farcical debate evening. In it they are assisted by Jacques Herb, singer of the well-known sentimental song Manuela, fitness club owner Daniël Monteiro and head chef Manuela Goncalves Tavares. What happens when this group tackles questions such as ’Where lies the future for art?’. How seriously should we take the answers and is it a case of mistaken identity? Art. A farce in two companies is a game of doubles on the question of why we make art, how we make it and what constitutes good art.
