This evening, the jury chairman Joop van Caldenborgh will announce the recipient of the €12,000 award, and we raise a glass to the winner. Kunstbeeld, the monthly art magazine, will launch its Christmas special, paying special attention to the nominees and the winner. Afterwards, TENT’s Pre-Christmas-Party breaks loose with a sound performance by Machinefabriek, singing by among others Lotte Bovi, an Animal Circus Act, the performer Mette Sterre as The Spirit of Christmas, fries from Fritèz Haute Friture, Bobby’s Dry Gin, and much more.

Silvia B., Esther Kokmeijer, Ewoud van Rijn, and Lidwien van de Ven have been nominated for the Dolf Henkes Prize 2014. The Dolf Henkes Prize is Rotterdam’s most important art prize for artists and was established by the prize’s namesake – the Rotterdam artist Dolf Henkes.
