Hidden Alleys Food Art Festival The Emma Inn project in the alley next to TENT Rotterdam is part of the Hidden Alleys on the Maas Food Art Festival programme. On 10+11 and 17+18 September, different art installations, including Chez Emma, can again be seen in Schiedam’s historical centre. The route leads along hidden alleys, an old soda factory, an abandoned warehouse, and a vacant church, past the Stedelijk Museum Schiedam and gallerie Emmy Miltenburg. Fifteen narrow, dark alleys are the backdrop for art installations, special food concepts, and a colourful dining room.

Culinairy hot spot in hidden alley of TENT
TENT’s hidden alley is usually closed to the public, but on Saturday 27 August it is open for one day. In the alley on the Witte de Withstraat, the Hidden Alleys Food Art Festival shows the The Emma Inn café and beauty salon: a pink, plush dream where shiny painted nails and fluorescent-pink leggings mingle with beehive hairdos and pink razors. Artist Emma Walch designed Rotterdam’s smallest café. Be enchanted by this glittering world under TENT’s fire escape and enjoy its culinary surprises!
