Rieke Vos is an independent curator and writer. She is currently working on a program around the 65-year legacy of the Sonsbeek open air exhibitions in Arnhem. In 2013 she was research-curator for the Istanbul Biennale and co-curator the exhibition Artificial Amsterdam that took place at de Appel arts centre (in connection with Gerardo Mosquera). From 2008 – 2010 Vos developed several research and curatorial projects for the architecture firm Powerhouse Company in Amsterdam, where she engaged in the research project Rien ne va plus/ Faites vos jeux.

On Sunday, May 31 at 12:00 hrs independent curator Rieke Vos will give a free guided tour through the solo exhibition of Priscila Fernandes. Rieke Vos knows Fernandes’ work well and enjoys sharing her knowledge about her sometimes hard to grasp, comprehensive work with the audience. Fernandes’ installations offer enough starting points for interesting discussions about education and art, labor and leisure and the relation of these subjects to past and current events.
