The politics of making and the propaganda of the PPP are continued outside the walls of TENT. Local residents, reusers, artisans, and Sunflower Soup members are using the textile surplus from the Free Shop to create a large banner for the shop's facade, so that everyone can see what reuse means. The materials and methods used embody the circular society that the Free Shop and Sunflower Soup stand for. An object intended for single use (a banner) is now being put to permanent use.
The unveiling of the banner will take place during the finissage of Peel the Power on October 24 & 25.
