The Sonic Resonances workshop by filmmaker and organizer Aileen Ye explores sound as evidence stored within the body. Participants bring a sound memory from their own lives and use interview and reconstruction exercises to retrieve it through voice, body, and movement. Inspired by Pauline Oliveros' 'Deep Listening,' the workshop reveals how individual voices are connected to other voices, places, histories, and forms of resistance. Participants are asked to bring 1-2 sound examples from their own lives.
