For years, the Dr. Verwey test laboratory was located at Coolhaven 32. In this unique post-war reconstruction building, tests were conducted on food products and animal feed. In 2025, the building gained a new occupant: TENT. And this weekend, you open the door to the stories this place holds.
On Friday, May 15, Mar Verhoeff, a former employee of the laboratory, will be present. He will talk about the ins and outs of Dr. Verwey's, the history of the building, and provide explanations regarding a display case with memorabilia. Registration is not necessary; just walk in.
The exhibition is on Saturday and Sunday. Lend Me Your Ears Central. An exhibition about how memories and stories connect people, across generations. Our storytellers are present in David Maroto's installation and are happy to tell you stories from the past.
