For this spooky season, wildcard is organizing a Shadow Puppet Making workshop at TENT Rotterdam. At wildcard, we play all kinds of different games, and we warmly invite anyone who is curious, enthusiastic, or already experienced to join in this shadow puppet workshop. During this session, you will be provided with materials to build your own non-human shadow puppet friend from scraps. Afterwards, we invite you to come up with the lore for your creature (who it is and what it likes), and to interact with other creatures in the room through “free play” (play aimed at discovery). Together with our new friends, we will practice building stories with one another and explore puppetry in a fun and accessible way. At the end of the session, you can take your puppet home with you, as a memento of a fun day or as the start of a new way of playing!
No experience needed to participate!
