In the TENT BOOKSHOP you will find a lively collection of books, zines, magazines, and publishing experiments. Not a permanent collection, but a slowly changing landscape that moves with what lives in the city, in TENT's art programming, and in our minds. We invite you to be part of this!
We are looking for publications that resonate with the exhibitions WE STICK TOGETHER 21-11-2026 to 03-01-2027 & LACE STORIES 21-11-2026 to 21-02-2027.
WE STICK TOGETHER is a pparticipatory project for children, parents, and everyone who is drawn to learning and discovering through play. An interactive maker environment in which stickiness Central to this is connectedness and collective imagination, with room for other ways of paying attention, being together, having fun, and creating the world. In addition to a hands-on range of activities, this project is also an artistic-pedagogical research.
This project runs parallel to LACE STORIES.
Lace Stories is a multidisciplinary exhibition and performance project that approaches the wedding as a living, changeable ritual rather than a fixed tradition. Through visual art, fashion, performance, and shared gestures, the project explores how marriage shapes bodies, labor, and gender roles, while simultaneously creating space for care, humor, tenderness, and collective joy.

Our conditions:
- Your publication fits the theme of the above-mentioned projects
- you are a maker or collective with Rotterdam as your home base
- your artistic vision and involvement are central to your publication
- your publication is not older than 5 years
- your publication has a sales price below €50
Please send your proposal no later than 11 OCT to books@tentrotterdam.nl with the details below in NL or EN:
- your contact details including place of residence
- Brief information about your book (max. 150 words, preferably the blurb)
- date of issue
- selling price
- Language
- A number of photos of your publication.
A selection will be made from all proposals received.
25 OCT > SELECTION ANNOUNCED
If your book is selected, 2-5 copies will be placed on consignment.
26 OCT to 8 NOV > SUBMISSION OF SELECTED PUBLICATIONS
TENT BOOKSHOP is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting artistic book projects. We charge a 20% consignment commission. All proceeds are used to promote new artist-owned publications.
