An intimate podcast series by Ciska Meister and Pelumi Adejumo for TENT Rotterdam, where we delve deeply into the sound, texture, and context of our current exhibition.

The exhibition, titled PEEL THE POWER, is curated by the social practice collective SUNFLOWERSOUP and focuses on the subversion of power. It explores themes of governance, gathering, and gardening in a horizontal manner, providing space for visitors to participate and express their voices through their own imagined political party for the potato. In line with their social practice, they have invited a diverse array of collectives and social practitioners.

Today, we welcome James Parnell, an organizer, host, ballroom dancer, instructor, and truly a people person.

We’ll be discussing Parnell’s practice, game nights and what it means to build communities.
